The Learning Center
In response to the growing interest for continued learning expressed by students of the Southold Digital Photography series of classes, I have established the Cameras, Computers & Cyberspace Learning Center so beginners and advanced students alike can explore the myriad possibilities in creative imaging that digital photography offers.
A Digital Photography Social Club-We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the evening to explore the principles of photography, learn about processing images in Photoshop and review and critique photos submitted by members for evaluation. Then we meet later in the month-the 4th Saturday in the morning to take a little field trip with our cameras in hand. I will be on hand at all sessions to facilitate and moderate.
Laurel Lake Vineyards has graciously offered the use of their tasting room for the Thursday evening meetings.
Members Only-Premium Content-The Learning Center is a members-only group. Dues for membership will be payable in advance for a 12-month period with a stipend also due at each meeting. Membership includes access to a members-only section of camerascomputerscyberspace.com where exclusive content such as tips, tutorials and other information will be available for download. This information will coincide with the topic of the month. It is not necessary to attend the monthly meetings to gain access to the members only section.
To cover costs associated specifically with the conducting the meetings and field days a stipend will be payable at the meeting as well. These stipends may be paid on a pay-as-you go basis or in advance if combined with the annual membership dues. Discounts for advance payment are available.
